A stepping stool for everyone at their own level!

This is the vision of Nathalie Vink from Paardencoaching Hillegersberg. Nathalie started 19 years ago with her own small stable, which has now grown into a small-scale mini riding school! As Nathalie describes it, her lovely paradise, right in the city but also in the heart of nature. Since last year, this hobby has become her work. Paardencoaching Hillegersberg wants to make people happy, teach things in a fun way, and have fun with horses and ponies.

What have we at Nedlandic meant for Paardencoaching Hillegersberg?

We can, of course, tell you this ourselves, but Nathalie has also written a beautiful piece about it:

At our stable, the luxury mounting aid from Nedlandic is an indispensable tool. The step can be used in multiple ways, supporting everyone at their own level. If a rider struggles with mounting and dismounting due to medical issues, the Nedlandic step is ideal. The rider no longer has to pull themselves up on the saddle, which means neither the horse nor the rider experiences discomfort, and the horse’s back is relieved. The mounting aid is even sturdy and strong enough for our Shetland pony to do tricks on. Our horse can also perform tricks on it. It’s a lot of fun to do out-of-the-box tasks with our horses and ponies. The aid is also suitable for practicing liberty dressage! It has become so popular that we are now saving up for the beautiful jumping blocks that match the Nedlandic poles we currently use for our jumping lessons.

What does Paardencoaching Hillegersberg do?

They provide guidance and professional help for children and adults. Each lesson and service is in a small group, which ensures that customers receive the attention they need. Because we at Nedlandic have been able to supply the equipment, they offer a wide range of activities. From walking in the woods with the ponies to guiding an ambitious rider up to Z2 level dressage. Or would you rather try a little jump? That is definitely possible, as there is beautiful plastic obstacle material available. The lessons follow the KHNS instruction method.

The coaching sessions provided by Paardencoaching Hillegersberg help with:

  • Frequently experiencing anger or sadness
  • Coping with grief and/or unresolved trauma
  • Dealing with bullying behavior
  • Burnout – stress – loss
  • Fear of failure and gaining self-confidence
  • High sensitivity and/or irritability
  • Extra lessons for language, spelling, and math

This is all due to the “learning differently with horses” method, which we’ve written more about in a previous blog. Read more about it here.
